After arriving at Uganda's Entebbe International Airport and completing immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver, who will look after you throughout your tour. He will then drive you to your hotel, where you can recover from the long flight and get used to the African climate.

Your unique tour begins after breakfast. You drive through Kampala - the country's capital - to the northwest of Uganda to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park. On the way you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where the rare white rhinos, which have already been completely eradicated in Uganda, are being reintroduced. In the afternoon you will reach Uganda's largest national park.

In the early hours of the morning you climb into the open safari vehicle for an exciting ride. The journey takes you through wonderful landscapes: through the savannah, fan palm forests and grassland the path takes you to Lake Albert. Look out for lions, hyenas, buffalo, elephants and other wildlife. In the afternoon you take a boat trip on the Nile to Murchison Waterfall, where the Nile rushes 43 meters into the depths. You leave the boat and walk along the edge of the gorge. Huge Nile crocodiles sunbathe at the bottom of the falls.

DRIVE TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK


Day 4 DRIVE TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Today you drive to Kibale National Park with a stopover at Fort Portal. Several tea plantations line the path. In the afternoon you arrive at your accommodation. Surrounded by the smells and sounds of the rainforest, you can spot primates swinging from tree to tree from the camp. You can also observe rare species of birds and beautiful butterflies here.

The Camp
Kibale Forest Camp is located just outside the southern part of the national park, hidden in a lush, evergreen forest. It borders the Magombe Swamp, where the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary - a true bird paradise is located. The open design of the common area fits perfectly into its natural surroundings. Excellent food is served in the thatched-roof restaurant. If desired, coffee or tea can be served on your own terrace in the morning - the perfect start to an eventful day.

The camp offers an authentic nature experience in ten traditional safari-style tents. From the comfort of their own tent, guests can listen to the sounds of the forest, such as the calls of the Woodford tawny owl or the black and white colobus monkeys soaring through the treetops. The comfortable furnishings of the tents consist of a cozy double bed (or two separate beds) and a private en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and shower. Guests can observe monkeys and rare bird species from their own terrace.

A ten-minute drive takes guests of Kibale Forest Camp to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center, the starting point of unforgettable chimpanzee tracking. Kibale Forest is the best place in all of East Africa to see these primates. Children who are too young to take part in tracking can alternatively take part in the Children’s Forest Walk.

Today you will experience an unforgettable highlight of your tour. After breakfast, look for the chimpanzees high up in the trees of Kibale National Park, one of Uganda's most beautiful tropical forests. Observing entire groups in their natural environment is a unique experience. You will then travel to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the most popular and beautiful game reserves in the country.

You start today with an exciting morning drive. Around 100 different species of mammals live in the park, making it one of the highest biodiversities in the world. These include lions, hippos, buffalo, leopards, spotted hyenas, elephants, primates and the hard-to-find giant forest hogs. In the afternoon you take a wonderful boat trip on the Kazinga Canal, which is ideal for fantastic bird watching.

On this day the journey takes you to Kisoro, which is idyllically located at the foot of the Muhabura and Mgahinga mountains, which are part of the world-famous Virunga volcanoes - home of the mountain gorillas. After arriving at your lodge, you will embark on a relaxing boat trip on Lake Mutanda, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. In the evening you should go to bed early so that you can start gorilla tracking the following day fit and well rested.

Today you get up very early. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (optional) is one of the most exciting and immersive wildlife experiences in the world. The hike, which lasts up to 8 hours, will be an unforgettable adventure - every effort is worth it! You will be accompanied by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about the fauna and flora and the lifestyle of the rare gorillas. As an alternative to gorilla tracking, there are several hikes you can take. In the afternoon you will visit a local village.

Day 9 DRIVE TO LAKE MBURU NATIONAL PARK
As you enter Lake Mburo National Park you can observe impalas and zebras. The drive to the accommodation is combined with a wonderful game drive. The park forms a mosaic habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannas, hills and swamps. Thanks to the diverse habitats, 313 bird species are represented in the park: including the flame-headed barbet, the yellow warbler, the African rush rail and many, many more.

The eco-friendly, family-run Rwakobo Rock Lodge is located in a picturesque setting on the edge of Lake Mburo National Park. From the main restaurant you have a fantastic view of a spectacular rock face that borders the park and a nearby waterhole, which attracts many animals every day. The restaurant serves delicious home-made food, a combination of Ugandan and Western cuisine. The lodge tries to purchase as many ingredients as possible from local traders in order to support its neighbors and also to have as little impact on the environment as possible by traveling long distances to import food.

It accommodates its guests in eight spacious and comfortably furnished cottages, which are spread out on a mountain and thus ensure a high level of privacy and magnificent views of African sunsets thanks to their location. Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park


10th day FOOT SHARKING AND DRIVE TO ENTEBBE
Today, before breakfast, you will go on a guided walking tour. You experience the animal world from a completely different perspective. Afterwards, enjoy a tasty breakfast in your accommodation. Then drive to the international airport. On the way to Entebbe they pass the equator. Here you can take a break with a relaxed picnic and stroll through a colorful market where numerous traders offer typical Ugandan handicrafts and souvenirs. In the evening they reach Entebbe.
